After graduating college with a degree in Communications, Amelia landed her first job as an account rep in a New York City advertising agency. She quickly realized that it was the creative side of the business that piqued her interest. Writing tag lines and jingles came easily, which made her segue into creative writing less of a choice and more of a calling. Now, when she isn’t vacuuming the never ending tufts of fur shed by her lovable pups, she can be found tapping away at her laptop. Poetry, short stories, lyrics, novels – Amelia has tackled it all and hopes to leave no literary stone unturned. She will forever be grateful to her supportive husband and children, who are extremely understanding of the time she invests in her craft and, as a result, have committed most of the local take-out menus to memory.
